Bachelor in Veterinary Medicine
Looking back, the traineeship was far more than a study trip. It was an immersion into the interconnected worlds of conservation, forensics, veterinary medicine, and culture. It taught me that protecting wildlife demands not only scientific skills but also courage, adaptability, and the openness to learn from every encounter. Much like the wildfires that sweep across the South African plains, this journey has left behind not ashes but renewal—the kind that pushes me to pursue my path in veterinary medicine with deeper determination and a clearer sense of purpose. This experience has not only equipped me with practical skills but also reaffirmed the resolve sparked in high school: to dedicate my life to protecting animals from suffering.
