One of the most rewarding moments during my internship was seeing a sustainability report that I had been heavily involved in preparing eventually published on the client's own website. I had worked on almost the entire reporting process, so seeing the final product publicly available gave me a strong sense of accomplishment. The sales outreach experience was also meaningful because I may eventually enter the financial industry, where client-facing or sales-related responsibilities are common. Being exposed to outreach and client communication during this internship therefore gave me an early opportunity to practice skills that may become important in my future career. Professionally, I now have a better understanding of sustainability reporting, client needs, business development, sales communication, and workplace collaboration, giving me confidence that I can handle similar transitions in the future.
