Looking back on the debriefing sessions held over the past few days, I remember how members of Pasona’s staff repeatedly asked us to consider one question: “How will you apply this experience to your future?” Since leaving Awaji, I have often thought of the sea I woke up to every morning. At first, I assumed it was simply a view I had grown fond of during the trip. However, after meeting people from such different backgrounds and hearing how each of them had chosen their own path, I came to realize that what makes a place truly meaningful is not merely its ability to attract people, but its ability to make them want to remain.
