My internship at Impact Hub Hyderabad has been one of the most intellectually demanding and personally formative experiences of my academic journey to date. As a rising senior in International Relations at National Taiwan University, I came into this internship hoping to test classroom theory against real-world practice. What I found instead was something more rigorous than I expected: a role that required me to function simultaneously as a researcher, a relationship-builder, a writer, and, at times, a translator between institutional cultures. Working across the Hyderabad–Taiwan Innovation Bridge project, from ecosystem mapping to partnership proposals to on-the-ground immersion in Tirupati, taught me lessons about international cooperation that no seminar could have fully prepared me for. The core of my internship centered on the Hyderabad–Taiwan Innovation Bridge, a project situated at the intersection of partnership development, ecosystem mapping, and program design.
