Overall, this internship was my first time living alone abroad. Though I had to return early, it was still a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I gained not only practical skills in seed germination and stress testing, but also a deep appreciation for how the British approach both work and life—with balance, respect for nature, and a sense of quiet joy.
