During my internship at IFW Dresden, my main activities included literature review, scientific discussions, and exchanging research ideas with members of the research group. The research topic of the group was related to topological quantum materials and superconductivity, particularly the investigation of transport phenomena in quantum materials. Although my doctoral research background is mainly related to semiconductor physics and solid-state charge transport, this internship allowed me to explore a new research field and understand the connection between fundamental quantum physics and future technological applications. One of the most valuable experiences was learning how researchers approach unfamiliar scientific questions. Through reading literature, attending discussions, and interacting with experts, I gradually developed a deeper understanding of topological materials, superconductivity, and their potential applications in areas such as quantum computing.
