Bachelor in Political Science
In this traineeship, we also had the Polynesian Cultural Center (PCC) one day trip, where we watched performance that represents Pacific six islands, saw Samoans drilled wood to make fire, visited Fijian chief’s accommodation, wove small fish with coconut leaves, experienced traditional tattoo pattern, saw the real Polynesian outrigger canoe that inspired canoes in Moana, and culminated in Ha: Breath of Life. It is said that how strange yet wondrous it is that, as humans, we can feel all creation. Indeed, to be able to taste the sweetness of cherry tomatoes, to feel the coolness of acai bowl, to ball up the feet and leap from the zipline, and even to see the skin change color after less than two hours of surfing in the ocean. I am grateful to everyone who made this journey possible, giving me the opportunity to see.
