My time at Bellwether Industries completely changed my perspective on the Advanced Air Mobility sector. Prior to joining, I assumed the company focused purely on autonomous passenger flying cars. On-site, I discovered a much broader product ecosystem encompassing tactical decoy UAVs and multirotor inspection drones. Observing operations firsthand taught me that a deep-tech startup cannot survive solely on futuristic concepts; it must develop functional, reliable products that satisfy immediate commercial and defense market demands today while building toward long-term mobility visions. Watching the operations team navigate corporate negotiations, regulatory compliance, and cross-departmental coordination revealed the dedication required to run an early-stage aerospace enterprise, teaching me how technical engineering aligns with broader business strategy.
