I will take these lessons back to Taiwan, they will shape how I write, plan research, and join future projects. The internship taught me to think at a European scale while staying grounded, to treat lived experience as guidance, to slow down for grants, and to act fast for safety. Most importantly, I learned that trust grows through ordinary acts: clear notes, shared credit, timely drafts, and honest timelines. I leave with gratitude for my mentor Nurhidayah, supportive colleagues, and migrant women communities, and with work to do: linking research with advocacy, naming the gendered dimensions of migration, and building processes where those most affected lead.
