This experience reinforced one of my biggest lessons from the program: meaningful innovation that matters begins with the problem not the solution. Customer journey mapping, root-cause analysis, Blue Ocean Strategy. I learned that businesses do not start with an exciting technology, then look for a use case. Instead, they need to first understand what customers really need, get to the root causes of their challenges, and build solutions around those realities. The program also made me think more in-depth about the role of AI. As AI becomes more embedded in work and everyday life, the more important question may not be simply how it can make us more productive, but how can it help us make better decisions. Good judgement is knowing which assumptions to question, which risks matter most and which trade-offs are worth making.
