My project focused on the properties of prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) on the surface of prostate cancer cells. During the summer, I participated in cell culture, cell seeding, drug treatment, CellTiter-Glo assays, Western blotting, and data analysis. We obtained preliminary observations suggesting that the in vitro phenotype was consistent with findings observed in vivo. Although these results were still preliminary, it was rewarding to see experimental data gradually support our biological observations.
