Bachelor in Agronomy
Spending the summer in the UK was a turning point in my life. Before this, I had never been outside Asia and was used to an intensive, detail-oriented pace. During my internship, my supervisor often reminded me, “Don’t put so much pressure on yourself!” and encouraged breaks, focusing more on my thinking process and attitude than just results. I learned it’s okay to be slow, unsure, and take time to explore. Over time, I even joined colleagues for tea, which surprisingly boosted my motivation and gave me new ideas. Working at Kew was not just an internship but a wonderful journey. I am deeply thankful to both NTU and Kew for this precious opportunity that broadened my horizons and shaped my future.
