The endless ocean, rugged cliffs, and powerful winds created a view that felt both wild and liberating, as if nature existed on a much grander scale than anything I had experienced before. This was not a zoo or a protected tourist park, but a true wild environment. Living under these conditions made me constantly aware of the fragile boundary between humans and nature. For the first time, I truly understood what it meant to be a visitor in the animals’ territory rather than the other way around. More importantly, the program changed the way I viewed conservation work. I began to understand that protecting wildlife is not only about passion or sympathy, but also about professional expertise, careful investigation, and international collaboration. Through this traineeship, I developed not only practical skills but also a deeper sense of responsibility toward environmental protection and global sustainability.
