The way INSEAD teaches was also unlike anything I had experienced at NTU. Instead of sitting quietly and listening, we spent much of our time discussing ideas through breakout rooms, case discussions, games, and hands-on activities. Nothing about the learning experience was passive. I realised how much richer discussions became when everyone was expected to contribute and engage with one another. Learning did not come only from the professors. It also came from hearing unexpected perspectives and occasionally changing my own mind halfway through a conversation. Many speakers shared different stories and perspectives, yet much of their advice revolved around the same idea: growth begins with the willingness to step into uncertainty. Do not be in a rush to prove yourself to the outside world. Spend time building your own character first. Invest in your health, and do not let a packed schedule drain you.
