Participating in the NTU x Impact Hub Kathmandu study trip was a meaningful experience that combined cultural exploration, design learning, and social innovation. Before visiting Nepal, I mainly associated the country with the Himalayas, Buddhism, and a developing economy. However, after spending a week there, I discovered a country full of creativity, resilience, and warmth. This journey also changed the way I think about design, culture, and society. Overall, this study trip broadened my perspective in many ways. I gained not only new knowledge and skills but also a deeper understanding of how design can connect with culture, sustainability, and social responsibility. In the future, I hope to apply what I learned in Nepal to my own creative work by combining sustainability with handmade design and entrepreneurship. I believe that design should not only express beauty but also contribute to society and protect our environment. This journey to Nepal was much more than an overseas study trip—it was a valuable experience that helped me better understand the world and myself.
