Bachelor in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science
Stepping out of the fast-paced academic environment of NTUEE and into the software engineering teams at Huld in Prague, the biggest revelation was not learning a new programming language or coding technique, but rather realizing that how to communicate and collaborate is more important than developing faster. I gained valuable experience working and communicating with people from different countries and linguistic backgrounds. Looking back on these three months in Prague, this journey has fundamentally reshaped how I view both engineering and life. As I return to NTU for my senior year, I am bringing back a mindset that values thorough documentation, open communication, and work-life balance over mere coding. This internship proved to me that becoming a truly global engineer requires not only technical competence, but also the courage to embrace unfamiliar cultures.
