Research discussions with Professor Chen were another important part of the experience. At first, explaining my methods in English was difficult, and his follow-up questions often revealed that my own reasoning was not yet complete. After several discussions, I stopped waiting until I could express everything perfectly. Instead, I learned to state the core problem clearly, listen to the response, and revise my understanding. The project became a continual process of identifying problems, discussing them, and changing direction when necessary, which was also the part I found most rewarding.
