My internship at GR Korea in Seoul gave me the opportunity to work at the intersection of regulatory research, business intelligence, and cross-cultural communication. My day-to-day responsibilities centered on translating and synthesizing Korean-language source material—news articles, government reports, and institutional publications—into polished, client-ready English deliverables. I worked on a recurring regulatory and news monitoring report covering Korean e-commerce and logistics developments, particularly the platform economy space, as well as National Assembly proceedings. This report required structured table formats, category labels, and concise summaries of legislative amendments. Beyond these recurring deliverables, I helped produce profiles of individual National Assembly members documenting their legislative activity for clients tracking the 22nd Assembly's work. This experience challenged me in ways I did not fully anticipate, meaningfully shaping my future path.
