Forum For Human Rights (FFHR) is NGO based in Prague, as NGO established in 2021, but as project from 2019. Our main ideology is equality of every human being and protecting democratic value. Strategy is to bring together different level of groups as representatives of governments, politicians, experts, academics, the population, students, organizations, etc., not only in the Czech Republic but also worldwide.
We raise awareness and promote knowledge of Human Rights with specific reference to the situation of the Uyghur, as we see their situation as very urgent and discussed theme of last time. One of our last projects was University project called From Judgment to Action at the Charles University, Faculty of Law to create within the University system a forum for legal experts to raise awareness of the groundbreaking findings of the 63-page Uyghur Tribunal Judgment (December 2021), and to draft policy papers by University students - recommendations for governments.
FFHR also lead initiatives on Forced Labor regulations in cooperation with Czech and Foreign experts, politician, lawmakers and other organizations. We organized discussions, closed roundtable, and conference on problematics of Forced Labor and Capital Markets. Purpose of the project was to examine the present models of the European Union and the United States for sanctioning forced labor trafficking to argue for a material strengthening of the existing transatlantic sanctions regimes by introducing the uniquely powerful leverage offered by capital markets sanctions.
Our mission is to involve to problematics of Human Rights young people, university students as they are our future leaders, politicians, lawmakers who should have care of the World they are living in.
As the mission of Forum For Human Rights (FFHR) is to involve to problematics of Human Rights young people, university students, we would like to have Interns for Universities Human Right Project. Together with interns we should create University project that has to connect different Universities in Prague and worldwide and create program for Human Rights Fridays for Students. During Fridays, students should have different lectures by experts, witness, politicians, lawmakers, academics, other Human Rights NGOs and lead discussions on Human Rights problems. Managing the Project also includes communication/ meetings with politician and government. Organizational skills and knowledge of social networks, leading campaign on social network is an advantage. Intern should also work on different ongoing projects, mainly coordinating between organizations. FFHR is cooperating with the government and politicians.
