Registration Opens for the NTU Overseas Internship Program

Set your sail to learn from the world! 

NTU OIA sends NTU students to companies, research institutes, NGOs, and maker spaces to do internships around the world through the NTU Overseas Internship Program (OIP). In addition to making outstanding impacts and exploring different opportunities, you will be guided by mentors who are mid-level managers or executive managers in the organizations. With their guidance, you can experience the workplace culture abroad and learn professional knowledge and skills.

In 2024, the program will expand its scope, with internship opportunities spanning nearly 15 countries and encompassing a diverse range of institutions. These include research institutes such as Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew in the UK, IBM Research in the USA, IPSiM in France. The OIP also involves various enterprises like MediaTek in the UK, Walsin Lihwa in Indonesia, Synology in Germany, ASUS in Thailand. Additionally, there are non-profit organizations such as Czech-Taiwanese Business Chamber in the Czech Republic and Taiwan Reyhanli Centre for World Citizens in Türkiye. The industries and the job vacancies are extensive including areas like food technology, animal science, space technology, visual design, business development, issue advocacy, Mandarin promotion, mechanical engineering and more. The diversity allows you to find internships that align with your interests and skills in the Overseas Internship Program.

 

Internship period: Mid-June, 2024 to Early-September, 2024

Program Eligibility: NTU degree-seeking students(include students who are currently in their final year; not include part-time students or dual degree students)

Application Deadline: January 5 (Fri.), 2024
